Local PR Excellence Shines at 2012 PRism Awards
Patrick McSweeney, APR, honored with Ray Bullard Award, 16 others recognized.
The North Florida Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) recently honored 17 organizations and individuals for excellence in public relations. The PRism Awards ceremony was held on November 13 at WJCT PBS Television with “First Coast Connect” broadcast host on WJCT-FM, Melissa Ross as the guest emcee.
“The PRism Awards honor the best public relations strategists and creative thinkers from across North Florida and South Georgia,” said Tia R. Ford, president of the North Florida PRSA and Advancement Manager – Events, Second Harvest North Florida. “Based on feedback from last year’s competition, the PRisms were expanded this year to include PR tactics in addition to PR programs.” More...

So, you missed the deadline for this year, but that doesn't mean you can't prepared for next year! Communication professionals across the First Coast have produced some fantastic work over the last year and will do so over the next - and we're sure there are some full-blown campaigns, specific tactical components, and individual professionals deserving recognition. - Over 20 award categories: Programs for full-scale campaigns, tactics categories, and individual award categories. From crisis communication to social media to brochures, there's a category for every practitioner! See the 2012 Call for Entries for full details.
- Entering is easy! Check out the form and include it with your supporting materials for each entry by the deadline to be determined for next year. Forms are fillable and available in both PDF and Word for your convenience. Remember to nominate a deserving public relations professionals for the individual awards. See past award winners here!
