On the heels of COVID-19 changing our world like we have never experienced; the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Jacksonville was facing the possibility of having to cancel one of its largest fundraising initiatives for the year – the Festival of Lights 5K held annually in San Marco. But with a little creativity, and a shift in audience engagement strategy, the non-profit was able to break fundraising records between 2020 and 2021.

Register now and plan to join us virtually as we welcome Children’s Miracle Network Director Nikki Sabol on Thursday, Oct. 6 from noon to 1 p.m. Nikki will share how the team pivoted in the face of a major pandemic to engage audiences differently and achieve their maximum impact, and support local-area pediatric practices at UF Health Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s hospitals.

About Children’s Miracle Network of Jacksonville

More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. Locally, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals supports UF Health Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
