North Florida PRSA will host this virtual panel discussion to share insights on how to be effective through social media – how companies can be authentic, how you can drive engagement and trends that are likely to stick around.

The one-hour session will provide best practices on how communications professionals can utilize social media to steer PR campaigns, connect with key stakeholders and boost their brand story.

At this program, you’ll hear from:

  • Kristopher Brant, CEO and Founder, Ascend Studio Group LLC
  • Audrey Laine Seymour, Social Media Marketing Manager, Nemours

Meet Our Participants:

Meg Fligg – Meg spent her career seeing the forest for the trees. Her professional communications work began hugging trees at The Nature Conservancy of Georgia way back when.  After hearing about her love of pine stands and red-cockaded woodpeckers, Georgia-Pacific recruited her for environmental communications. From there, she honed her skills for decades inside GP’s corporate communications group, emerging as the #BoxGeek and a #TPNerd she is today. She picked up a master’s degree in speech communications at Georgia State along the way.  In her current role, she is responsible for the social media strategy and execution for multiple B2C and B2B brands. 

Kristopher Brant: For nearly 10 years, Kris has been driving conversation and content based on storytelling. From social media to marketing strategy to documentary films, Kris has been able to take a wide breadth of experience and merge those into captivating social content for places like the PGA TOUR, aboutGOLF, Surf & Turf Golf and more. Kris’ main highlights include leading the content development for the PGA TOUR’s owned and operated events include THE PLAYERS Championship and FedExCup Playoff events. Originally from Central Florida, Kris earned his Masters from NYU and developed his style at Time, Inc and Vice in NYC. He now lives in St. Augustine and has recently opened his own Production Company and Marketing Consulting group with aims of helping small, local businesses achieve large scale results.

Audrey Laine Seymour - Audrey Laine Seymour spearheads social media for Nemours Children’s Health System, a national, non-profit organization with two children’s hospitals in Orlando, FL, and Wilmington, DE, two children’s specialty care clinics in Jacksonville and Pensacola, FL, and many primary and urgent care locations throughout the Delaware Valley. Audrey Laine leads social media and content strategy teams, publishing content on Nemours-branded social media accounts and monitoring over 800 Google My Business and Yelp listings. Originally from South Georgia, she and her husband, Jud, live in Ponte Vedra with their twin toddlers, Aaron and Harrison.
