About this event
According to Muck Rack's State of Journalism 2023, disinformation is one of the top issues journalists and media face every day. How can we help media outlets and the general public reestablish trust in the fourth estate?
Join us for a virtual presentation from Gainesville with current and former members of the University of Florida PRSSA chapter who recently won the prestigious Bateman competition with their campaign titled "Get The Facts Before You Act." Their entry was selected among nearly 50 submissions nationwide and highlighted the competition's partnership with the News Literacy Project, which aims to create a more news-literate America.
The winning team will deliver their presentation and be available for a live Q&A at the end.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:15 pm for this special collaboration with one of our local PRSSA chapters as we celebrate the future leaders of our industry!
Please register as spaces are limited. If possible, please send questions ahead of time to Chris Obarski, NFPRSA Programs Chair, at cobarski@daltonagency.com.
